due to death and destruction

and half the shoppe went up in flames

that travelled at the speed of something that goes damn fast

houses and other buildings got burnt
people got burnt
of course the only thing that anybody gives a toss about is the people
and their precious belongings
and perhaps 'livestock'

not a thought to the thousands and thousands of canguri etc that died

politicians, sports people and tv maggots are all broken up about it
banks and all kinds of other businesses are giving money
and encouraging us to do likewise
the commercial tv pricks see it as another chance to scam ratings
taking any opportunity to look serious
and sensationalize
in the hope of getting more suckers to watch their falsehoods
their masques of sincerity
which they entwine with advertisements and sneaky promotions
