Blue bastard
A distinct species of sweetlips fish native to the shallow, tropical waters of northern Australia.
The common name was coined by frustrated anglers because the fish is notoriously difficult to hook on a fly. The formal scientific name (caeruleonothus) combines the Latin words for "blue" (caeruleo) and "bastard" (nothus).

Auntie Aggie
auntie aggie lived Cumbernauld
between edinburgh and glasgow
auntie aggie was quite elderly
and very kind to a vague step relation and a complete stranger
auntie aggie had a stairlift to get up and down (the stairs obvs)
and loved to watch her 'stories' on daytime telly
auntie aggie referred to many people as 'his nibs'
and had a fake 'fire'
(which i found hilarious)
auntie aggie was very hospitable
and gave us advice on where to visit in her caledonia
auntie aggie had a lovey brogue
and fed and humoured us callow fools with great patience
auntie aggie was (politely) appalled that we didnt go to the cairngorns (as i had wished)
because a fucking idiot wanted to see a coastal shithole
no doubt auntie aggie has left the building by now
vale and thanks for the fry ups auntie aggie

yo nunca he estado en paraguay
entonces compre unos pantolones cortos y basta
argentina, brasil y paraguay

Word of the weak - apotropaic
something meant to turn away, ward off, or prevent evil, bad luck, or harmful spiritual influences. It comes from the Greek word apotrepein, meaning "to turn away."
conclusion - anything can be apotropaic if you believe it hard enough.
try it at home! -
grab a common or garden variety stick, shove it forcefully up your arse, convince yourself its apotropaic then go leap into oncoming traffic and see how it works out for you.(you credulous twat)

cut from the crap
but the question remains
Why so shit?
sure mick jones had been given the boot
but Joe strummers later work was amazing
his albums with the mescaleros are low key masterful
all in it was a sad conclusion to the oeuvre of one of the most important bands of the 'punk era'

maxitruffa!
