nasty nattō?

nattō is a japanese dish made from soy beans

the beans are fermented in bacteria

and it tastes rottenly like it too

it absolutely reeks

and it has the consistency of slime

(with mushy bits in it)

it is often used to test the tastebud mettle of gaijins

but its apparently marvellously good for you
