one balmy/barmy evening
in a land where its always balmy
and quite often barmy
i took a stroll down temple street
as i made my way down dale
i heard some funky goings on
across the road from what i thought was the temple
on temple street
no, not the one at the bottom
i hadnt clocked that one yet
there was some musical goings on
what kind of goings on exactly
and what kind of establishment was hosting it
werent immediately obvious
leaving me bemused on temple street
it turned out to be a traditional indigenous kinda gig
with groovy shapes being thrown
in fancy kit
and a healthy does of plinking and plonking
but was this place where it was being staged, also a
temple
on temple street?
it certainly seemed that way
and across the road
from where i gazed
was that temple maybe not a temple
on temple street?
it looked very temply
or
could it just have been an extreeeeeemely elaborate chinese restaurant
decked very convincingly like a temple?
