blazing saddles just doesnt overly do it for me

i get it

mel brooks is clearly a bit of a genius

his absurdity is from the toppest of shelves

history of the world part 1

and spaceballs in particular

are massively funny/daft

young frankenstein, the producers (springtime for hitler!) et al

all soar mightily above the usual hollywood dross

and

blazing saddles is veeeeeeeeeery clever

and decisively right on

but it doesnt make me lose control of that particular sphincter

it more causes slight smirky spasms 

but as rattus australianicus once intoned

that aint bad...
